3.1 Adequate preparation will mean that the session flows more smoothly and is a more efficient, enjoyable and value for money experience. I provide a short 20 minute “get to know you” Zoom session on request, which is free of charge. This is designed to get a clear understanding of your needs and to ensure that I am the correct mentor for you. I do not accept Mentees without an initial meeting.
3.2 The topic(s) will be decided by the mentee and can be a discussion of a clinical case (pre-treatment or completed), a literature review or a broader discussion of a specific topic.
3.3 Material/Topic for discussion should be provided by the mentee not later than 5 working days prior to the session. Any material forwarded to me (e.g. study models) will be returned 48 hours after the session at the mentee’s expense. Provision of the material is entirely the responsibility of the Mentee; I will not chase for material.
3.4 It is suggested that records such as clinical photographs are shared via Dropbox. All clinical data should be provided with the patient’s written consent and should be redacted.
3.5 The advice given regarding specific cases should be regarded as generic. I am unable to provide treatment plans without the benefit of an in person clinical examination and special tests.
4.1 The mentorship sessions are available between the hours of 6pm and 9pm on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (excluding public holidays). Other timings and days are available by prior arrangement.
4.2 Each session is of 60 minutes duration and is conducted in ENGLISH.
4.3 The venue for mentorship meetings is Zoom. Please ensure that you have downloaded the zoom software prior to the meeting and that you have adequate Internet access. It is suggested that you chose a private room with no background noise or risk of disturbance.
4.4 The sessions are interactive and you should be prepared to carry out your own preparation. You should be aware that this is NOT a lecture and you will be asked questions.
4.5 Suggestions for further study and reading will be provided at the end of each session.
4.6 Sessions may be attended by up to a MAXIMUM of 5 Mentees.
4.7 The sessions should NOT be recorded without prior agreement.
4.8 Any behaviour, which could be considered to be offensive, (for example, but not limited to, bad language, racist or sexist comments) will result in immediate termination of the session with no refund.
5.1 The fee for each 60-minute session is £250. This is inclusive of my preparation time.
5.2 Sessions are bookable in ONE-MONTH Blocks. In my experience Mentees benefit from a long-term relationship.
5.3 Blocks are reserved not less than 14 days in advance of the first session date. Payment in full by bank transfer is required to reserve each block. Payment for multiple Mentees should be from one nominated account.
5.4 Invoices are raised on a month-on-month basis in advance of the sessions.
5.5 Five full working days notice is required to cancel a session.
5.6. In the event that the mentee fails to attend the session the mentee is liable for 100% of the fee.
5.7.Late attendance of greater than 20 minutes beyond the appointed meeting time will be deemed as failure to attend.
5.8 Repeated lateness or failure to attend will result in termination of our agreement.
